Kennedy Design Build, LLC is a mid-sized General Contractor established 1/1/1996. Completing approximately 200 projects per year; 4,400 total projects in Arizona, with the largest single project pushing $20,000,000. Being a smaller company with low overhead and long established subcontractor relationships provides an extremely competitive advantage over the typical General Contractor. Our goal is to provide an exceptional construction experience for you by delivering value, honest communication, and complete customer service that ensures a long term relationship. This is achieved through our team approach and the principles we follow as a company; honesty, intergrity, excellence, and safety.

KDB At Work
Design Assist is the most popular project type that we perform for our clients. This a proven method to guarantee quality and maintain your costs. Kennedy Design Build is brought in at the same time as the Architect and the Consultants while each is contracted individually with the Owner. We work with them and you as the Owner on material selection, phasing, building types, building process, scheduling, and budget. Having Kennedy Design Build involved on the frontend of the project ensures our Clients that value and quality are built-in from the first stage, thus reducing change orders and surprises down the road.
KDB Relationships
The majority of our projects have come by word of mouth, are repeat clients or referrals as we have never had a formal marketing plan. We have established long-term relationships with our Subcontractors and Clients alike. This ensures that we deliver a quality product and an easy team working experience to produce a successful project for all.
A Conventional Bid project is a type where the design has already been completed. A full set of construction plans are received in our office to competitively price our Subcontractors along with our overhead costs. Our bids are broken out using Construction Specifications Institute's 16 Divisions. Within these divisions we further break down each category and subdivision with great detail. It is important that there is no question on what is included and/or excluded in our construction bid.
